WARRANTY

Counter Design Co, Inc. warrants that, under normal use and service all products manufactured by Counter Design shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of sale in the United States to the first consumer purchaser for installation in the United States.  This is the exclusive warranty for such products.  In the event that a Counter Design product does not conform as warranted, the purchaser’s sole remedy shall be limited to repair or replacement of all or any part of the product (at Counter Design’s sole discretion) that does not conform.

 

This limited warranty applies only to a product in its original installation and only if purchased by the first consumer purchaser.  This limited warranty is not transferable, and expires upon resale or transfer by the first consumer purchaser. 

 

This limited warranty shall not apply to defects or damage arising from any of the following: (1) accidents, abuse, or misuse; (2) exposure to temperature in excess of 200°F; (3) improper fabrication or installation; or (4) improper maintenance including damage from abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals.

 

The following costs and expenses are not covered by the provisions of this limited warranty:  (1) costs for the removal and reinstallation of the products; (2) shipping and freight expenses required to return the products to Counter Design; (3) normal maintenance; and (4) economic losses.

 

This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state; therefore, some of the limitations stated above may not apply to you.  It is to your benefit to save your documentation upon purchase of a product.  Evidence of purchase date is required for coverage under this limited warranty.
